(elected Jan. 11, 2011)  Mayor of Saddle River, elected Nov. 2007.  A principal with Raia Properties Corporation and Raia Self Storage.  Previously spent 35 years as an executive with Raia Industries, a family businesshe which was the leading provider of ready-mixed concrete and aggregates serving northern NJ and southern NY, and which, before being in 1987 sold employed over 500 people.  M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University; B.S. in public accounting from Seton Hall University.

(Jan. 2011)  De Palma, née Gasperino, was most recently the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for Governor Chris Christie. Nearly a decade of volunteer and professional experience in numerous political and campaign roles including: Christie for Governor (Political Director, 2009), Scott Garrett for Congress (Campaign Manager, 2008), Rudy Giuliani for President (N.J. Executive Director, 2008), and Tom Kean for U.S. Senate (Statewide Field Director, 2006).
