During the last seven months of the campaign (April 10, 2012 to Nov. 6, 2012 >), Mitt Romney made dozen trips to his home state of Massachusetts including fundraisers, visits to campaign headquarters and culminating in voting on the morning of Nov. 6 and his election night event at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center that evening.  The Democratic principals did a total of eight fundraisers in that period.
